Well, I got the job, and we are moving to Brisbane for APRIL (and the start of second term) people!
My thoughts are all over the place, not least of all because our children do not own a scrap of warm clothing between them! Ah - the stash!
We have the house here to sell and a house down there to find. Real estate agents and mortgages and loans and money - oh my! Schools, public transport and choices to consider!
I have been remiss in not posting any photos of Sunny of late:
What a gentle and noble dog he is! No knitting sadly to really report, but with a brand new inverter air con installed into the living area last weekend, at least now I can cool the place down enough to knit comfortably!
The new
job promises to be a slower pace, and that will be a welcome change. Ihope to move to a location on the train line to allow me knitting time to and from work. That would be a real bonus.
Stay tuned for more developments ...
Congratulations. What a momentous time for the whole family!
Warm clothes - Brisbane? Temperature is definitely a relative concept!! LOL

Hi Lynne
My DD aged 4 looks for a cardi if the temp falls to 25 degrees with a breeze! She is going to find the change very cold ...

Well done! Looks as if you'll all be very busy for the next few weeks.

Congratulations, what exciting news!! I think Brisbane is hot hot hot!!! Isn't Sunny so gorgeous. He's not a puppy any more, he's grown so much. You are so lucky to have such a lovely pup!!!

Congratulations - I think :)
It sure sounds as though you're in for a period of some turbulence, upheaval and change - but these are not necessarily bad things. Take it all in stride and know you've got friends hoping the best for you!
Hugs (and pets to lovely Sunny!)
