Sorry it has been longer than I anticipated since my last blogging entry.
I was home for the school holidays, and I was hoping to blog a whole lot more but a variety of circumstances conspired against me. We had a family member who hogged the computer we don't see very often, and DS Ian has started the habit of making "movies" with lego figures using the digital camera. So the battery was often flat and the computer frustratingly out of reach.
But today I am home with my lovely DD Caitlyn who has caught a cold - I know its a bit naughty of me, but I really enjoy the sick days when it is not me that is sick but rather one of the kids. Not when they are miserably sick but rather when they are a bit unwell, still recovering, and the whole day is too much for them to cope with yet.
I have finshed the grey cardigan for me - it is lovely but now of course it has gotten too warm to wear it. When the camera batteries recharge I will take some photos of it.
I have been knitting other things, mostly for Caitlyn - nothing finished of course. I have more blogging to do, but will that do for a little starter?
Yes, that will do nicely thank you. I hope Caitlyn is feeling better and those Lego films sound very good!!
We are lucky here, it has turned cold and rainy again!!!

Thanks Cindy - she has perked up no end during the day, ate some dinner and was quickly to bed tonight

Glad to hear she's doing better. And glad to hear from you too.
It's a shame you got your sweater finished and can't wear it now - but I guess there's always next year :)
It's getting pretty cold up here - I'm convinced we're going to have snow very early this year!

Hey robyyn! I am thrilled to hear from you! It has been unseasonally dry up here - but I am glad to say that i have found a new cotton yarn that is a pleasure to knit with which is not too hard on my hands. This will mean that I dont have to just knit socks for the next 6 months! Great big hugs to you and Myra
