Specs: Llani, by Katya Frankel. I found it on Ravelry, here.
I used justs a smidge under 3 balls of Cleckheaton Serenity DK. I am hanging onto the 4th ball I initially purchased to add to the length later on.
The pattern was easy to read and well presented. From the looks of the girl wearing the original garment, I'd say the garment shown is a size 2. Twisting stitches to the right I was able to do without a cable needle, but I did need to use one for the twisting to the left.
I am yet to stabilise the neck with some binding, and the change in direction of the twisted stitch allows a narrow ribbon to be woven through for a finishing touch.
I think DD Caitlyn looks well pleased -wouldn't you agree?
She does indeed look very happy with it! It's a lovely pattern.

Caitlyn looks as pleased as punch!! The top is gorgeous and I think it is very forward thinking to have an extra ball to add length later. I love the top, it's beautiful!! She's a lucky girl and you're a lovely mum!!

It looks wonderful, Nat, and so does the little one. I can't believe how big she's gotten!
You going to work on (or finish) something for yourself now?

That looks really great. I haven't done any on mine for a while and I agree about the cable needles. I was also thinking of some binding on neck outline as it looks as if it could stretch easily.
Must fish it out and do some more in between bouts of packing here. We're moving but not for another few weeks yet.
