Sometimes a girl just has to have a bit of fun!
(Some of the above were ordered from Styk in Sydney.)
Finally a big FO!
The observant amongst you will have realised that there is no photo posted of me on this site until now. This is because I was waiting to get a haircut (its a long story) and yes, there is a vain-ish streak in me.
Now, I must be the last person to start sitcom chic - I even printed out the pattern in March 03 and it's now, what, almost November 2004! So I am making up for lost time now by
(1) getting the front and back panels done to under the arms shaping,
(2) casting on both sleeves and
(3) obtaining correct sized and shaped needles from the LYS to do the sleeves
so it's all systems a GO GO GO!
DH Tony's birthday tomorrow - presents et al shopped for this afternoon. We are going to wait until after work tomorrow for the celebrations as the mornings are a bit of a rush around here.
More storms here now - gotta go!

Rosebud is lovely! What a wonderful job you did adapting it to fit your beautiful belly. I love it! Congratulations on the sweater and the little one on the way. I hope Rosebud helps keep you feeling pretty through the rest of your pregnancy. :)

Thanks Alison and Alysia! Its a great fit at the moment - I love the bell sleeves - a summer version is also planned, and cast on
Unfortunately we are heading into summer so Rosabud, she is packed away now for the moment. She will be first out of the box next year though, that is for sure!
